LAWIN advises Securitas on its entrance into the Latvian market
LAWIN Riga advised a global leader in security solutions, Securitas, on its acquisition of 65 % of the shares in the security services company Ave Lat Sargs in Latvia. There is an agreement to acquire the remaining 35 % of the shares in 2014.
The LAWIN Riga legal team is lead by the senior associate Maris Brizgo.
Securitas is a knowledge leader in security solutions for a variety of industries and customer segments. It employs 295,000 people in 49 countries in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Latvia is the 50th country where Securitas is present.
Ave Lat Sargs is one of the largest security services companies in Latvia. The company has annual sales of approximately LVL 3.1 mln and 280 employees. Ave Lat Sargs is mainly operating within guarding, technical security solutions and monitoring.
