LAWIN represented Lithuania’s Biseris UAB in its sale to private investors
LAWIN Vilnius team represented the shareholders of Biseris UAB, Lithuania’s major road marking company, in the sale of a 100 per cent stake of the company to private investors. This M&A deal was advised and performed by LAWIN partner Zilvinas Zinkevicius, senior associate Sandra Prichozaj and associate Ruta Besusparyte. The deal was closed on December 30, 2011.
Biseris UAB was established in 1993 in order to offer customers the most modern road marking solutions, which not only make roads look aesthetic, but also increase the safety of drivers and improve traffic permeability. The company was involved in designing the majority of junctions and new or reconstructed stretches of road in large Lithuanian cities and on important roads. The company not only performs road marking and sales of road marking materials, but also possesses all necessary equipment for the whole process of railing manufacturing, from transporting of stock (hot rolling steel strips) to compound parts of manufactured items (ribbings, beams, tail and remote elements), which are mounted on roads.
