LAWIN Riga represents investor in construction project for the offices of the State Revenue Service of Latvia
LAWIN partner Ilga Gudrenika-Krebs and senior associate Dace Driče represented the interests of the majority investor in a project for the construction of a real estate complex, which is planned to house the offices of the State Revenue Service. The negotiations and closing on behalf of the LAWIN client – SIA “Mežaparks SPV” – resulted in restructuring of the agreement between the parties that will reduce the project costs. The State Revenue Service office complex, to be constructed in the Mežaparks area of Riga, and whose sketch design is already before the Riga City Construction Board, has a project value of approximately EUR 50 million. LAWIN client SIA “Mežaparks SPV” owns 68.5% of the shares in the project company (SIA “Biroju Centrs Ezerparks”), while the remaining shares of the company are owned by the State real estate assets entity (joint stock company “Valsts nekustamie īpašumi”).
