LAWIN Tallinn advises lenders on aircraft finance transaction

LAWIN Tallinn acted as Estonian legal counsel to Export Development Canada in relation to the structured financing of the acquisition by EA Jet Leasing Ltd directly from Bombardier up to three newly manufactured Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen aircraft and leasing of the same to Estonian Air. The delivery to Estonian Air of two out of three aircraft financed through the transaction already took place at the end of January 2011. The transaction constitutes one of the largest aircraft finance transactions in Estonia. LAWIN Tallinn advised Export Development Canada on Estonian law governed transaction and security documents, as well as served as transaction counsel on all relevant aspects of Estonian aviation, contract, property and commercial law.
