LAWIN senior associate Maret Hallikma introduced the Estonian tax system to future officers

The mission of the Officers’ School of the Estonian National Defence College in Tartu is to train and educate senior non-commissioned officers, as well as junior and senior officers for the Estonian Defence Forces, National Defence League and other military institutions.

This fall LAWIN senior associate and leading tax specialist Maret Hallikma gave a lecture to future officers on the tax system of Estonia. Within the framework of a project management course the officers received an overview on the basics of the Estonian tax system, current and possible future developments. “The officers will specialize on different projects in their future careers, some with local and some with Baltic or international focus. In any case they need to be familiar with the Estonian tax system, to be able to successfully lead these projects” commented Maret Hallikma.
