Mediation & Other ADR
Mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods are not commonly used in the Baltic States. Nevertheless, our team offers clients the possibility of using these alternative means for dispute resolution should the opportunity arise.
In order to ensure that this full scope of ADR service is available to our clients, our team members have completed the education and training necessary to acquire mediator’s certificates.
The possibility to use mediation and alternative dispute resolution is often something a client does not consider. Our experience proves that taking this non-standard approach has led to surprisingly good results.
Our team of legal experts is alert to identify matters where mediation and ADR may benefit not only the client but the other parties involved in the dispute as well. Very often successful application of ADR is determined not as much by legal analysis and strategy, but rather by the ability to achieve a mutually advantageous compromise between the parties. Thus, the role of the attorney as mediator is to help the parties find a business solution, which would result in the savings of time and resources as well as preserving good business relationships between the parties.
We currently cover the following areas:
- Mediation
- Conciliation
- Expert opinion
- Referees
